Maple Ridge Physiotherapist Steven Lammers completed his Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of British Columbia in 2008. Through his scholastic career, Steven has worked with various populations such as spinal cord injury, rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, post-op joint replacement clients, as well as with community and advanced athletes. He has pursued research supporting Sport injury prevention and rehabilitation, cardiorespiratory rehabilitation, and strength training for stroke patients. Steven strives to provide comprehensive and effective therapy to his clients, looking for results with care. He is the owner and operator of Mageta Physiotherapy & Performance Clinic. Steven also enjoys a very active life with his beloved wife, son, daugher, his two German Sheppard’s and his Boston Terrier, Winston, who visits the clinic on occasion.
Baruch Huberman joined Mageta Phyiotherapy after graduating from Queen’s university in 2014 with a masters degree in physical therapy. Prior to that, Baruch completed a BSc in kinesiology from SFU where he also worked as a teacher’s assistant for a course in health promotion. Baruch has experience working with orthopedics and sports injuries, neurological conditions, such as stroke and multiple sclerosis and cardiorespiratory rehab across various settings ranging from acute care in hospitals to private clinics. Baruch’s passionate about treating clients with chronic pain, postural dysfunction, and sports related injuries and plans on taking courses in acupuncture, yoga and various manual therapy techniques. Baruch lives in east Vancouver and enjoys yoga, meditation, reading, cycling, potlucks and road trips.
Ashley Nagle is excited to have recently joined the Mageta Physiotherapy team. Ashley completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria and went on to do her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto. While completing her master’s degree she conducted research examining injury prevention in youth sports, and feels passionate about injury prevention and health promotion. Ashley has experience treating patients with various neurological, cardiorespiratory, and musculoskeletal conditions. Ashley believes in providing excellent patient care with evidence-based practice. In her free time she enjoys hiking and playing volleyball.
Maria is a physical therapist who received her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of British Columbia. Maria’s focus incorporates sports therapy and dance medicine to educate clients and apply exercise prescription to create successful rehabilitation to help
clients meet their goals. She applies a multi-system individualized treatment model to total health and wellbeing, combining current evidence based practice, with her personal values and clinical expertise. With hands on manual therapy and neuromuscular retraining she can rewire altered cortical pathways. This enhances neuroplasticity. Not only will she treat your current symptoms, she will find and treat the underlying cause of your current dysfunction and decrease the prevalence of injury recurrence.

Morgan Mowatt graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics in 2015. She is a provincially certified kinesiologist as well as a certified personal trainer. As a recently graduated student she has come to Mageta eager to learn and improve her skills in active rehabilitation. In her free time Morgan enjoys hiking, horseback riding, and photography.
Rose came to Canada from Liverpool, England in 1992. She lived and worked in Calgary for seven years as a Regional Client Services Coordinator for a leadership/workforce development company. Rose has always been interested in health and wellness and, after moving to Vancouver Island, had the opportunity to open three fitness franchises. During that time, she also pursued her other goal to be certified as a Bikram Hot Yoga Teacher. She moved to the Mainland in 2009 to be close to her three grown up children and seven grandchildren. Rose worked for a local Physiotherapy Clinic and has recently joined the team at Mageta Physiotherapy and Performance Clinic. She is excited to be able to continue working in the local community and being part of the team that helps patients reach their health and treatment goals
Nichola Leggett graduated from Sprott Shaw Community College after completing the Medical Office Assistant Program in 2006. She then went on to work within the Physiotherapy community working as a receptionist/physio assistant for 5 years in Coquitlam and Mission. She recently became part of the team at Mageta Physiotherapy & Performance Clinic as a receptionist. Nichola loves to work with people and always strives to make each patient feel understood and valued. Nichola’s personal goal is to make each time you come through the door a pleasant experience.
